Terms of Service

These terms cover the Aspect Discord bot and the Aspect website (together, “Aspect”). By using Aspect you also agree to follow Discord's own terms and policies and your server's rules.

1. What Aspect provides

Aspect provides private rooms, relationship and family role-play features, games, reminders, polls, a virtual currency, careers, server-protection tools, and a website with Discord sign-in. The website currently lets you sign in and see the servers you can manage. It does not yet change the bot's settings. Features can change, be unavailable, or be removed.

2. Acceptable use

Do not spam, harass others, exploit bugs, bypass permissions, or use Aspect to break Discord's rules or the law. Relationship and family features are role-play and require the other person's agreement. Do not use them to pressure or harass anyone.

3. Virtual currency

Coins, levels, careers and similar items are game features. They are not money, have no cash value, cannot be redeemed, and must not be bought or sold for real-world value. Aspect does not offer real-money gambling. Balances may be corrected for bugs or abuse.

4. Moderation and appeals

Automated protection can make mistakes. Server staff are responsible for reviewing reports and decisions in their own server. You can ask staff to review a warning or timeout through the server's appeal route or by emailing us. An appeal does not automatically reverse an action.

5. Service changes and availability

Aspect is provided “as is” and “as available”, with no promise that it will always work or keep your data. Aspect cannot stop a server administrator from using Discord's own Administrator permission to see channels.

6. Suspension

We may limit or remove access for abuse, security reasons, a server owner's request, or changes to the service.
